Hand tied silk bases are rare on the market. These pieces are made by hand tying hair through lace and then posting each hair through a layer of silk fabric to create the illusion hair is growing from the scalp.
The hair moves much more freely and naturally than with the machine made "injected" silk bases that are readily available.
This stock is always in demand as these pieces take a lot of time to produce.
